Dr. Karlien Roper

B. Ch. D (Pret), Principle Dentist

Karlien graduated from the university of Pretoria in 2005 in the top 10 of her class, receiving the Dental Association Leadership Award.

In 2013, Karlien completed the Australian Dental Council exams and relocated with her family to Australia in 2014, where she worked in general practice before taking over Cherrybrook Family Dental Care in 2017. In 2019 Karlien had the opportunity to be involved in Appletree Dentistry, and jumped at the chance.

With inexhaustible empathy, Karlien goes the extra mile to ensure her patients feel comfortable, especially children and anxious patients.

A working mother of 2 boys, she still manages to find the time to support her boys on the sideline on weekends and involve herself in their rugby club as a volunteer. When she finds time to unwind, she loves nothing better than a bush walk or socialising with friends.
